JM Tax advisors was formed because we believe that we can offer our clients more than we were able to under the constraints of a larger organization; a more collaborative, personal, and tailored approach to build and maintain long lasting relationships and service.


With over 35 years of experience, Margaret Conklin serves clients in tax planning, preparation, and review of individual and business tax returns. She has worked for small tax firms and large firms like PWC and KPMG. She has also owned her own tax preparation business both in the US and in Europe. Margaret is a Certified Public Accountant with a master’s degree in business Tax from the University of Southern California.

Jason Mathew has 16 years of experience providing comprehensive US tax advice and counseling to individuals and businesses. His professional experience spans across North America, Europe, and Asia. He has worked as a US tax consultant at larger firms like PWC and EY as well as London based boutique firm. Working in multiple jurisdictions, teams and diverse work environments has enabled him to specialize in US reporting in different regions. Jason possesses an accurate and comprehensive knowledge of the US taxation laws and simultaneous knowledge of multiple foreign tax issues associated with living abroad. In addition, he assists US citizens based globally to minimize their overall worldwide tax liability.
